Top Dentistry, Inc.(“Top Dentistry”, “we”) operates a public dentist directory, marketing services for dental practices, and practice-management software. Depending on how you use us, we collect:
- Visitors — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and any details you submit through contact, audit, or booking-request forms.
- Practices — business contact details, listing content you claim or provide, and account and billing information for paid services.
- Patients of our practice customers — information those practices collect and manage in our software on their behalf (see Protected health information below).
How we use information
- To operate the directory and connect patients to practices.
- To deliver, bill, and improve services practices purchase.
- To respond to enquiries and send service communications.
- To measure and improve site performance (see the Cookie Policy).
We do not sell personal information.
Protected health information
This marketing website does not collect protected health information (PHI). Where our practice-management software processes PHI on behalf of a dental practice, we act as a business associate under HIPAA, process that information only under the practice’s instructions and a Business Associate Agreement, and log access to it. Patients should direct requests about their health records to their dental practice, which remains the records owner.
Sharing
We share information with service providers who help us run the platform (hosting, communications, payments), under contracts that restrict their use of it; with a practice when you ask us to connect you with that practice; and when required by law.
Retention & security
We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or de-identify it. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is role-based and audited.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to certain processing.
